The Gosford Art Prize is the annual premier art prize of the Central Coast region. Open to all mediums and all artists from across Australia, the Gosford Art Prize showcases recent work by the talented local and interstate artists with $27,000 in total prizes are available.
First Prize: $15,000
Second Prize: $5000
Aboriginal Artist Prize: $2500
Gosford Ceramics Prize: $2000
2x Highly Commended: $1000 each
Viewer’s Choice Award: $500 gift voucher (awarded after the exhibition)

- Online entries open 5 June 2023
- Online Entries close Monday 24 July 2022, 4pm
- Finalists announced 7 August 2023
- Delivery of finalist artworks deadline 4pm, 27 August 2023
- Opening event and award announcement Friday 8 September 2023 pm
- Exhibition dates 9 September – 5 November 2023
Entry Procedure
All entries must be submitted online, entries will open 5 June 2023
For an entry to be valid it must:
- be correctly filled out and submitted by
- include at least one quality uploaded image of the entered artwork
- have appropriate entry fee paid
Entry Fee
Entry fee is $30 per entry with a maximum of two entries per artist.
Entry fees are non-refundable and only works with paid entry fees are eligible for prizes and for selection for exhibition inclusion.
