Acquired through the Cultural Gifts Program, donations and acquisitive prizes the Central Coast Council Art Collection is designed to make an artistic statement about the visual arts culture of the Central Coast and its place in the wider national cultural context. We hold over 800 works of art related to the Central Coast and beyond the region, showcasing artistsic excellence across a variety of mediums. 

The Art Collection is maintained by Gosford Regional Gallery with selection of works displayed throughout Central Coast Council buildings and at Gosford Hospital.

Sister City Collection

The Sister City Collection consists of cultural gifts from our sister cities Edogawa in Japan and Nitra in Slovakia. 

Donations

We consider donations of artworks that meet the Art Collection policy and are registered with the Cultural Gifts Program.

All donations are assesed for suitability by the Art Collection Committee.
